  1. Students will be able to explain the components of a computer system and their functions, as well as understand the role of operating systems in managing computer resources.
  2. Students will be able to apply optimization techniques to enhance computer system efficiency, such as managing startup programs, optimizing storage, and utilizing system maintenance tools.
  3. Students will be able to navigate the internet effectively, demonstrate an understanding of web browsing concepts, and employ strategies to ensure online security and privacy.
  4. Students will be able to compose and send emails, manage email accounts, and understand email etiquette and netiquette for effective online communication.
  5. Students will be able to utilize the command line interface and command prompt to navigate file systems, execute basic commands, and perform tasks such as file manipulation, directory navigation, and program execution.
  6. Students will be able to identify and describe common cybersecurity threats, such as malware, phishing, and social engineering, and implement basic security practices to protect computer systems and online activities.
