My name is Benedicta Seloama, and I am thrilled to share my incredible journey as an intern at Genius IT. When I first joined, I had little knowledge about workplace ethics or how the professional world operated. However, thanks to the CEO and the entire team, I found myself in a supportive environment that encouraged growth and learning every step of the way.
One of the turning points of my internship was being given the opportunity to take a digital marketing course. This training helped me develop new skills and gave me the confidence to contribute to the company’s marketing efforts. I created and published social media content, including weekly inspiration posts and alumni highlights on LinkedIn, which allowed me to showcase my creativity and skills.
In addition to my marketing work, I also assisted with administrative tasks like recording income and expenses in the company’s accounting system. These responsibilities taught me the importance of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Throughout my internship, I gained hands-on experience and developed valuable professional skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management. I also came to understand the immense power of LinkedIn and how it can positively impact one’s career.
