As a student of Genius IT Brainery, I pledge to uphold the highest standards of integrity, respect, and responsibility. By joining this community, I commit to the following principles:
- Academic Honesty:
- Assignment Independence: As a Fellow, I will complete my assignments and assessments independently when instructed. I will not seek unauthorized assistance or engage in any form of academic dishonesty.
- Plagiarism Awareness: Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. I will attribute sources appropriately and avoid presenting someone else’s work as my own.
- Group Work: Group work is very important. I pledge to effectively work in groups to enhance my understanding of concepts and support my other fellows during my duration of study.
- Respect for Others:
- Kindness and Empathy: I will treat other fellows, instructors, and staff with kindness and empathy. Respectful communication is essential.
- Inclusivity: I recognize the value of diverse perspectives. I will actively listen, learn from others, and contribute positively to our community.
- Discrimination: Knowledge, Skills, and Innovation is my core purpose for studying with Genius IT Brainery. I will never discriminate against anybody. I will hold everyone both young and old in the highest esteem.
- Feedback: As a fellow, I will respond promptly to all communications without delay. Irrespective of the platforms used, I will engage effectively on all these platforms.
- Digital Etiquette:
- Responsible Technology Use: I will use digital tools responsibly. This includes respecting privacy, avoiding harmful behaviour online, and adhering to intellectual property rights.
- Cyberbullying Prevention: I will not engage in cyberbullying or any harmful online conduct.
- Mobile Phone: I will use mobile phones ethically and responsibly. I will never let it distract me and others during class sessions.
- Attendance and Participation:
- Regular Attendance: Attending classes regularly is crucial and enhances our collective learning experience. I will be very punctual during my period of learning.
- Engagement Matters: My involvement contributes to the Brainery’s vibrant learning environment. I will do my possible best to engage effectively during class sessions. Because I am here to learn, I am willing to go through all that is ordained by the institution to make me a master of my skills.
- Professionalism:
- Dress Code: I will dress appropriately during the Brainery sessions, maintaining a professional demeanour.
- Effective Communication: Professionalism extends to respectful communication. I will seek constructive solutions when faced with challenges.
- Community Engagement:
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: I will share knowledge and insights with my peers. Together, we strengthen our community.
- Impact Awareness: I understand that my actions reflect on Genius IT Brainery. I will uphold its reputation through positive contributions.
- Alumni Engagement: As a fellow, I pledge to effectively participate in alumni activities in promoting support for each other and the Brainery.
- Family Matters: Learning in a loving but serious environment is very important to effective teaching and learning. I understand that Genius IT Brainery is more of a family. I shall be caring, loving, and concerned about my peers, and support their learning and success throughout the training session.
- Sexual Conduct: It is important to maintain focus during training sessions. I shall not conduct myself in any form of sexual relationship amongst fellows during my training sessions. All relationships shall be treated as friendships and family.
